अलीपुर फस्ट होम में एक बहुत पुरानी लाईब्रेरी भी है। जिसमे बहुत सारी किताबें रखी है। उसमे लडके बहुत कम जाते थे। लाईब्रेरी को संभालने का जिम्मा गुलाब सर को था वो कभी लाईब्रेरी खोलते ही नहीं थे। अगर खोलते भी थे तो सप्ताह में एक बार वो भी साफ़ - सफाई के लिए मैंने गुलाब सर से बात किया तो वो लाईब्रेरी खोलते के लिए मान गए लेकिन उन्होंने कहा कि लाईब्रेरी खोलने पर तुम्हे सफाई करनी पड़ेगी अगले दिन से लाइब्रेरी खुलने लगा लाइब्रेरी देखने के बाद व सभी रेक चेक करने के बाद पता चला कि लाईब्रेरी स्वर्ग के सामान थी। जो बुक मै चाहता था। सब उसमे थे १९७० के समय की बुक भी थी। सभी बुक काफी अच्छी हालत में थीं। सभी पुरानी पत्रिका भी थी। सभी विख्यात लेखकों के किताब कि पूरी की पूरी सीरीज थी। मुंशी प्रेमचन्द द्वारा रचित सभी उपन्यास सीरीज के साथ थे उनके द्वारा रचित उपन्यास गोदान भी थी। लाईब्रेरी में राखी हर बुक न्यू सी लग रही थी क्योंकि कोई भी उनको पड़ता नहीं था उनके उपर धूल जमी थी। पुरानी कॉमिक्स से लेकर न्यू नंदन , चंपक , नन्हे सम्राट,  यहा तक की पुराने समाचार पत्र भी थे । पुरानी बुक जिनमें फ्यूचर कैसा होगा उसकी कल्पना तक की गई थी। एक बुक जड़ी बूटियों वाली भी थी जिसमे सभी प्रकार के पेड़ पौधों और उनसे बनाई जाने वाली दवाई वो भी पूरी विस्तार से लिखी हुई थी। उपन्यास की येसी कहानियां की कब पड़ते -  पड़ते शाम हो जाय पता ही न चले कुछ दिनों बाद गुलाब सर ने मुझे लाइब्रेरी कि चाभी दे दी और उसका इंचार्ज भी बना दिया। मै हर रोज एक न्यू बुक उठाता और पड़ता। लाइब्रेरी में रामचरित मानस और गीता जैसे ग्रथ भी थे। लाइब्रेरी में १९७० के समय से अब तक की किताबें देखी जा सकती थी। क्योंकि हर महीने रिलीस होने वाली बुक आती थी और वैसे ही नोटिंग करके लाइब्रेरी में रख दी जाती थी।

 There is also a very old library in the Alipore First Home.  Which has a lot of books in it.  Boys used to go very less in that.  Gulab sir had the responsibility of handling the library, he never used to open the library.  Even if I used to open, once a week I also talked to Gulab sir for cleaning, he agreed to open the library but he said that after opening the library, you have to clean the library from next day to see the library.  After checking all the rakes, it was found that the library was like heaven.  The book I wanted.  All of them were in the book of the time of the 1960s.  All the books were in very good condition.  All old magazines were also there.  All the famous authors had a complete series of books.  All the novels composed by Munshi Premchand were with the series, the novel by him was Godan.  Every book Rakhi in the library seemed new because no one had to fall on them.  There were also old newspapers ranging from old comics to New Nandan, Champak, Nanhe Samrat, here.  The old books in which the future would be like were imagined.  There was also a book with herbs in which all kinds of trees, plants and medicines made from them were also written in full detail.  When the Yessi stories of the novel came to an end, I did not know what happened in the evening. After a few days, Gulab Sir gave me the key to the library and made him its incharge.  I used to pick up a new book every day.  The library also housed books like Ramcharit Manas and Gita.  Books from the time of the 1960s could be seen in the library.  Because every month there was a book to be released and it was noted and kept in the library.
